H.M. MILLER & ASSOCIATES INC. was founded in 1999 as a sole proprietorship, providing personnel recruitment and training for the automotive industry.
Continuing to grow in 2004, we purchased two in-home, non-medical franchises and in 2008, we were honored by ComForCare Senior Services corporate franchiser with the Franchise of the Year award. Maintaining a roster of approximately 150 nurses and nurses’ aids, we serve an eight county area.
As ComForCare is a drug-free workplace, criminal background checks and drug testing for employees were a requirement for doing business. After several years of sending employees out to various agencies and suffering through poor service, delays, and time consuming practices, we saw an opportunity to provide stability in this industry. We then became an Ohio Attorney General approved vendor of BCI&I and FBI criminal background checks in 2006. Our goal was to bring efficiency and responsiveness to the hiring and human resources industry and we have kept those values at the forefront of our process.
In February 2014, we joined with Noble Medical to provide drug screening and registered fastCHEX with the state of Ohio. At that point, we became a full service agency. We now provide background check and screening services as well as training and certifications in various fields to Columbus, Ohio area employers and individuals. fastCHEX has continued to grow, allowing us to assist even more local Columbus business owners. Now we have added Uniform Sales Custom Apparel and Embroidery Services.
