Drug Screen- DOT & Non-DOT

  • Rapid 10 panel test
    • Tests for Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Benzodiazepine, PCP, Barbiturates, Methadone, MDMA, and Opiates
  • Lab based- sent to lab and tested by a certified medical review officer
  • Adulterants catch people who have tried diluting or tampering with their sample

DOT Drug & Alcohol test required for:

  • Drivers whose performance may have contributed to or caused an accident
  • Reasonable testing
  • When a trained supervisor or company official observes behavior or appearance that is characteristic of drug/alcohol abuse
  • Random testing
  • Performed on a random, unannounced basis before/during/or after performance of safety-sensitive function
  • Return-to-duty and follow-up
    • Cases where an individual has violated the prohibited drug and alcohol standards returns to performing safety-sensitive tasks
    • At least 6 tests must be conducted in the first year after a driver returns to work
