There are so many options now for apps that can help your business succeed and create interesting content. This post will highlight a few essential apps for marketing your business successfully and explain why they are a must for business owners and marketing professionals.

Canva: Canva is a favorite of mine and makes it so easy to create. I say create as a general description because Canva allows the user to create so many different types of media, ranging from posters and presentations to social media posts. There are so many free options on Canva, but there are also paid plans that open up access to additional content and abilities in the app. Canva also features the ability to add in stock photography and graphics right from the app. This makes is especially convenient to be able to create engaging as well as unique content. The user can pick a custom template or create their own from uploaded photos as well. There’s unlimited options for customization on posts and that’s just another reason Canva is an essential app.

Buffer: Buffer allows users to connect various social media accounts and upload photos or video and post directly from the app. The big draw for Buffer is the ability to schedule posts fur the future, making it easy to schedule posts for major holidays and events. This is a big plus especially for those who don’t work weekends as you can schedule posts for those days and keep active on social media. Different time zones can even be set up if the user has an international audience. Buffer also allows the user to set up alert reminders to post content if they want to post directly from the specific social media app. Another overlooked feature is the integration of Google Analytics. The user can turn on this option to allow direct tracking for each post to see how well posts are performing, allowing the user to see which posts are most successful and cater to that format.

Hootsuite: Hootsuite is primarily a social media management site allowing the user to manage social media from one spot. The user can add accounts from different social sites and make a custom dashboard with different feeds. The feeds have many options, such as an actual feed of content from people the user follows, mentions of the user’s account, likes, even hashtags. This allows the user to have all of the essentials for social media content in one spot, making it even easier to stay on top of trends and engagement. Hootsuite also has a free option, but features a variety of upgraded plans catered to those with more accounts to manage and those looking for more in-depth features like analytic tracking and reports.
