Drug Screen- DOT & Non-DOT
- Rapid 10 panel test
- Tests for Cocaine, Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, Marijuana, Benzodiazepine, PCP, Barbiturates, Methadone, MDMA, and Opiates
- Lab based- sent to lab and tested by a certified medical review officer
- Adulterants catch people who have tried diluting or tampering with their sample
DOT Drug & Alcohol test required for:
- Drivers whose performance may have contributed to or caused an accident
- Reasonable testing
- When a trained supervisor or company official observes behavior or appearance that is characteristic of drug/alcohol abuse
- Random testing
- Performed on a random, unannounced basis before/during/or after performance of safety-sensitive function
- Return-to-duty and follow-up
- Cases where an individual has violated the prohibited drug and alcohol standards returns to performing safety-sensitive tasks
- At least 6 tests must be conducted in the first year after a driver returns to work
